August 2010 The colors, the smell, the anticipation of going back to school, the football games, and pulling out the sweaters... Why is it that we seem to slide into every other season, but fall has a very clear start? At the Little Traveler it's fall when pumpkins, gourds, and colorful leaves adorn everything from linens to jewelry, sweaters in rich colors fill the racks, scarves and mittens line the shelves, and the scent of fresh pumpkin and pecan pies fill the shop.

May 2010 It's time to head outside and start enjoying the pleasures of summer...barbecuing on the patio, outdoor weddings, bean bag toss in the backyard, sipping wine on the deck and good old-fashioned fun. September 2009. After the hustle and bustle of summer, relax with the endless beauty of autumn -- the ”second spring,” where every leaf becomes a flower. Throughout this harvest time, we invite you to visit our unique historical mansion and reap the benefits of Autumn’s harvest during this most tantalizing season with exciting events, such as wine tastings during the Festival of the Vine, a host of Autumn cooking and decorating seminars, and Specials and Trunk Shows where you can be among the first to see the latest jewelry designs for Fall and Winter. April 2009. Mother Nature will soon turn the tides allowing Springtime to return to the Valley. For an early peek at springtime, visit our shop. We’ve waved good-bye to Winter and have adorned our 36 rooms with the look, feel, scents and tastes of Spring. Adding a splash of the bright colors of this season to a room’s décor and to one’s wardrobe certainly brightens our moods! More than ever, this year, we feel the need to spruce up and cheer up our homes and our worlds.

December 2008. The mysterious magic of the season is popping out & drifting down over all the rooms and corridors of The Little Traveler. The staff has returned from East of the Sun & West of the Moon gathering new ideas, and you’ll see every cranny & corner jam-packed with their finds, surprises and delights from all over the world. Now the swags of fragrant holiday greens are hung in triumphant arches through the maze of corridors and each of our 36 rooms is adorned in its own distinctive holiday theme. July 2008. Since 1922, people have enjoyed traveling from near and far to visit our unique shop. This summer, continue the tradition with a visit to our beautiful Victorian mansion on South Third Street. Take your time and enjoy walking through room after room, seeing the many treasures we have collected from around the globe. On the lovely warm days, we may even have our tents set up on the front lawn, showcasing special treats at special prices. And, of course, set aside time to enjoy lunch with us.
