Our buyer Leslie Waterson took it upon herself to send a letter to Brighton nominating the Northern Illinois Food Bank as a beneficiary of the Brighton’s Feed Our Friends fundraiser. Her hard work and dedication paid off as NIFB has received a donation of $10,000 from Brighton! According to Brighton, “We selected Northern Illinois Food Bank from among hundreds of entries that we received because of the passion that The Little Traveler and it’s customers showed for the work their “hero” does in the community.”
We couldn’t be more proud of Leslie and all her hard work. Additionally, we are pleased to be affiliated with such a generous company and proud to have partnered with Brighton in being able to donate $10,000 to NIFB. We know how much this donation will mean to families in our communities as well as in our state.

For every non-perishable food item or cash donated at the Brighton counter, you’ll be registered to win a $25 gift certificate. We will award one gift certificate per day. (Limit 10 items per person, per day)
