Not Your Daughter’s Jeans

NYDJ Not Your Daughters Jeans

The Not Your Daughter’s Jeans (NYDJ for short) denim company was founded in 2003 by Lisa Rudes-Sandel and her sister Leslie.  The purpose of this venture was to make a jean that would allow real women with real curves to look and feel their best.  The girls had a very helpful ally in their father  — George Rudes, founder of fashion denim powerhouse, Saint Germain.  The girls brought their dad out of retirement to help design a jean that would use only denim to flatten the tummy and lift the butt — two problem areas most often cited by women.

With a unique crisscross front panel design and extra stretch in the rear, NYDJ fashions slim the lower abdomen and shape the hips and backside in a very comfortable way.   No more worries about the “muffin top” that results from overly restricting waistlines of other brands of jeans, or exposing way more than you want to with the low riders that seem to line the racks everywhere else.

The Little Traveler’s NYDJ representative will be in our shop in Friday, October 2 from noon until 4:00 p.m. to advise customers on the style and size of jeans that works best for their body type.  Don’t miss this unique opportunity to find the perfect fitting jeans — at last!
