The Little Traveler‘s Vera Bradley Room is bursting with the colors of spring! Stop in to enjoy the fully beauty, but in the meantime, here’s an introduction to the inspiration behind the brand new Vera Bradley, Camellia, Ellie Blue, Island Blooms, and Rosy Posie fabrics:

Camellia: Evoking all the romance of the 19th -Century garden, these soulful camellia blossoms offer a harmonious anthem of soft white, dusty taupe and shades of graphite gray. A wreath of laurel leaves bands the trim and repeats in the circular lining design.

Ellie Blue: Shades of Indigo blue set the stage for papyrus white, golden saffron and a touch of blue-gray. Inside and out, the Eastern-inspired paisley motif is charmingly highlighted by majestic and lucky white elephants.

Island Blooms: Reflected in a crystal-clear aqua lagoon, intoxicating white blossoms and tropical chartreuse foliage recall a lively floral painting by Gauguin. Inside, a suprisingly modernist design blends beautifully,proving there’s a tropic hideaway anywhere you look. Paradise Found!

Rosy Posies: An eye-catching combination of petite paisleys and oversized florals for the modern-day gypsy. Layers of colors from burgundy to berry, coral to cream and lemon drop set a happy pace for the optimistic traveler in all of us!

The Little Traveler will launch the new Vera Bradley Summer 2011 fabrics and colors on March 24, 2011! But we figured you might be as impatient a we are to get a good look at these fun and colorful new Vera Bradley fabrics…

English Meadow: Picture a field of summer wildflowers in a quaint English meadow. Now carry it with you in your Vera Bradley handbags luggage and accessories! Inspired by vintage print fabrics and the current micro-floral trend, this countryside-fresh bouquet of periwinkles, greens, and yellows feels as bright as a sunny day against a white background. Inside a tiny millefleurs (thousand flowers) garden blooms on coordinating fabrics.

Deco Daisy: What’s black and white and red all over? This deliriously fun daisy design! Simply striking, Vera Bradley Deco Daisy fabrics combine both Asian and art deco influences into a bold, lively arrangement that’s a delight to carry through summer, fall, winter, and spring. The Colors

Baroque: A modern print, but one deeply rooted in a romantic time of Elizabethan tapestries and Rococo fabrics. The contemporary feel of the Baroque fabric patterns marries traditional motifs with black, citrine, grays, and warm white. The effect is at once formal and very fresh.

Versailles: If history is bound to repeat itself, what prettier way than with this beautiful print that whispers of rich brocade and grandeur? The modern approach: Rich, intense colors – like ruby and green, periwinkle and gold – on a pure black ground. Try these fabric patterns and see what fashion history you can make!

Buttercup: These pretty posies pack a fashionable punch. Vera Bradley’s winter bloomers bring a light and breezy touch with warm tones of butter yellow, coral, fresh green, and chocolate. The ideal design fabric patterns for the free spirit!

Squared Away: Named by a Vera Bradley employee in a company-wide contest, this new bag is perfectly sized with great narrow trim detailing.

Perfect Pocket Tote: This tall open tote is the ideal carryall with hidden magnetic closures in two deep, front pockets. Inspired by the Summer 2009 Nylon Collection bag – Chelsea Tote.
