Children’s Book Event: Cumie the Brave Little Cloud

Illustrated & written by Kathryn Nagel and Kurt Wehrmeister from Geneva!

Meet both the illustrator and the author of Cumie the Brave Little Cloud, a charming and educational book for children ages 3-8 years old. Kurt Wehrmeister, author and award-winning local journalist, will read the book; Kathryn Nagel, illustrator and graduate of NIU’s School of Art & Design, will show how she digitally created the illustrations. Nagel will then lead the children in a hands-on art workshop. Book signing to follow.

Meet us at St. Mark's Church—enter at Door #1 (off of the parking lot, just north of Larrabee House. See map below.) 

Tickets are $14.99 for adult ticket with a paperback book, $25.99 for adult ticket with a hardcover book, and $5 for each child. Children must be accompanied by an adult. All tickets include a shopping coupon.

This event has a two-week cancellation policy. To receive a refund, you must notify us of your cancellation at least 14 days prior to the event date by emailing [email protected] or calling the store and leaving a message with our Events Coordinator.
