Knife & Scissor Sharpening

Make sure your cutlery and clippers are in top form for barbecuing and gardening. Tom’s Knife Sharpening service will be in our Housewares department to sharpen your knives, scissors, and garden clippers. Knives can be done while you shop; scissors and other items will be taken to Tom’s repair shop and returned to our store within a few days. If you can't make the scheduled date. you're welcome to drop off your items to be sharpened a few days early…

Mary Lou and Bob Gates have perfected the art of china and crystal repair. Bring in your chipped or cracked china, porcelain and crystal and let them work their magic. Minor repairs can be done while you shop. If you can’t make the scheduled dates, our store serves as a drop-off and pick-up site any time during store hours. Free Estimates.

Bob Auwaerter's affinity for restoration projects began with the restoration of his 1920s St. Charles home. He's always been mechanically inclined and has a talent for restoring motorcycles, tractors, cars, etc. When his wife became an antiques dealer and collector, he turned his skills toward restoring antiques and made a natural progression into lighting.
