Each glass ornament is hand-crafted in an artisanal Polish factory. Skilled artists and craftspeople use techniques that date back to the Renaissance. Meticulous attention to detail is given through each step, from glass blowing to silvering to hand-painting. Therefore, the entire process takes weeks to complete.

The individual care given to each handcrafted caroler in the Byers’ Pennsylvania workshop results in distinctive figures that capture the warmth and spirit of Christmas and other holidays. We carry the current-year pieces in this collection.
Joyce Byers made her first carolers because she wanted something reminiscent of her Christmases growing up. As her son Jeff jokes, “Mom’s hobby has gotten a little out of control” and now Byers’ Choice handcrafted carolers are a beloved collectible around the country. Together, the family now oversees a team of 180 Byers' Choice artisans in Pennsylvania who handcraft those same creations that started out on the dining room table many years ago.
