History of Brighton
Brighton was launched in 1991 with a single set of belts. Over the years, the company has become an accessory company with something for everyone. Handbags and purses were added to the line in 1993. Next came small leather goods, watches, jewelry, charms, eyewear and now luggage.
What Makes Brighton Unique
A silver heart dangles from all Brighton handbags and purses and adorns many of the jewelry pieces and other products in the group. We have many Brighton specials throughout the year. Follow us on Facebook to keep updated.Brighton is the only major line with products that coordinate from head to toe. A customer might choose a lipstick case that matches a wallet. Or select jewelry that matches a pair of sunglasses. Perhaps a handbag that matches her luggage. Or choose an entire matching set of multiple pieces.
Brighton believes the difference is in the details. This is why the design team travels the world to seek inspiration. Each design is sketched by hand. A host of artisans capture the detail and beauty of the original pencil drawing. The hand assembly of Brightons leather accessories often require up to one hundred and forty steps using nearly forty different parts. Many are made of fine Italian leather. It is a highly traditional process that keeps pace with modern styles.
